Thursday 18th April 2013 - 10.40pm - Quad bikes and shore crew tasked to search for person beleived missing on Southport beach after clothing found on sea wall. Person found safe and well at home after half an hour of searching.

Run by the Southport Offshore Rescue Trust, Southport Lifeboat provides a lifeboat rescue service around the Southport coastline.

Independent of the RNLI, the Trust relies on donations and fundraising to support itself to provide a first class life saving service.
